I attended JCK in Vegas last weekend. My purpose in going was to see first hand some prototyping machines that I have been researching. My sister got a new puppy the day before Halloween. A Maltese who she named Bella. I was against the idea of a new dog, but as it turns out, a new dog is exactly what our family needed right now. I had a partially successful casting session today. One flask had a hole through the bottom of the investment but I went ahead and poured with the vacuum on anyway because I spent a good amount of time on the wax. I spent even more time cleaning up the mess. Even my vacuum pump needed to be cleaned and I'm lucky it wasn't damaged. Now I smell like ( Read more... )

My sister Alison married Joey on Saturday. It was a wonderful ceremony and very fun reception in the Lennon Room at the Hard Rock Cafe. I was happy to photograph the occasion. Joey is a good man. One of the best I know.
